Once again another great harm is being done to our ambinetale territory.
Yesterday morning, as Coordinator of the Citizens Democratic Party, but more as a simple citizen, I have reported the presence of an illegal dump asbestos waste in the area south of Massafra.
After taking some pictures on the site, I reported the abuse to the local police station, so to intervene and secure the area.
The illegal dump is near the Street rail underpass Ferrara, in the gutter for rain water that runs along the railroad were some abandoned asbestos waste.
Being a drain rainwater concerns that you may cause serious damage to health of our citizens is high.
For too long our city and the surrounding area has been raped by man.
Too many times you have no reports of pollution and the discovery of illegal dumping, even in particular areas, such as near water sources, with the serious risk of causing irreversible damage to the health of many of our fellow citizens. This is only
the latest example of the deterioration and abandonment of our city, other illegal dumps are scattered all around our town, it's time to say enough. If
Massafra must be born again, he must do, starting from the environment, the real meaning of the term "ecology" of public health can not be in the hands of unconscious causing serious damage to our environment, with no real awareness of the the implications for public health.
The next City Council must start from these values, it must start from the revaluation of our territory, its respect and full awareness of the beauty of our Earth.
I hope my notes will serve to sensitize the minds of my many fellow citizens who still believe in respect for our beloved city.
